Australian Women in Security Network
I am a Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance Consultant working in cybersecurity. I am passionate about getting more women into the cybersecurity industry. In my spare time I enjoy building cloud projects, like this one! If you'd like to know more about my work experience, feel free to check out my LinkedIn page.
Before working in cybersecurity, I worked in a number of different industries including digital marketing, communications and English teaching. Click the link below to read an article I wrote for the Australian Women in Security Magazine.
Co-presented a talk at the AISA Canberra Cyber Conference 2024 titled 'Exploiting Wanderlust: Social Engineering Attacks through Booking.com'. Click the link below to read more about how the attack is carried out by bad actors.
Volunteering is a passion of mine and in 2024 I was nominated as a finalist in the category of Best Volunteer for the Australian Women in Security Awards. I am currently an Australian in Security Network mentor and have previously mentored for the Purple Team Australia Program. To the right is a photo from when I volunteered for the Missing Persons Hackathon.
Featured on an episode of HarrietHacks, a podcast dedicated to exploring AI security, cybersecurity and entrepreneurship hosted by Harriet Farlow. In the episode I discuss my education and the twists and turns my career path has taken.
